Why Do We Crave What Is Bad For Us?

BY HEALTHY EATING
The old cliché that it has to be fattening if anything is tasty has a lot to answer for. Take some favorite food list, and there is no chance that most of them would be bad stuff for us. We instinctively crave foods that are not the right choice for us on balance-they are unhealthy, lack nutrients and sometimes they don't even fill our stomachs very well but for whatever reason, we keep coming back. Why are we yearning for food that's terrible for us?

There is no denying that food which is not especially nutritious has a certain appeal. The attraction is not only about the way the dishes taste. It is sometimes a thing of convenience– if you’re at a football game the
chances are that the options for a snack do not include a healthy casserole, Yet burgers, hot dogs, and various other items will be included, which will not do a lot of good for the waistline. Finding someone who doesn't like the scent of fried onions and you might have discovered alien life can also be anything as easy as the way a meal smells.

We only crave unhealthy food as much as not, because it's easy. We don't need to sit down to eat it or pair it with just the right side dish. We're used to it. It's fast and has a good flavor. What we need to do is get to the stage that we're finding a healthier alternative to be almost as hassle-free. The safest choice in this situation for many people is a sandwich, just as long as there's not so much butter on it anyway!
